Saltillo posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Corinth Warriors 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

WILSON RODRIGUEZ spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Saltillo is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-3 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Saltillo's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was COOPER BURLESON, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. BURLESON also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.
