Basketball Game Preview: Rough Rock Sun Devils vs. Whitehorse Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Rough Rock Sun Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Whitehorse Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rough Rock has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 5.

Rough Rock came up short against Red Mesa on Tuesday, falling 71-49.

Meanwhile, Whitehorse lost to Milford on the road by a 75-60 margin on Saturday. The Raiders have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Rough Rock will have to keep a close watch on Kalin Tohonnie and Dominic Dance, a pair of players who had a big impact on Whitehorse's prior game. Tohonnie posted 19 points, while Dance had 17 points. Those 19 points gave Tohonnie a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hyatt Thomas, who put up ten points.

Rough Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Whitehorse, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
