New Philadelphia came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Ashland Arrows by a score of 9-6. The Quakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Arrows, too.

New Philadelphia pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ashland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
