Basketball Recap: Fairfax Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

If Metro Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fairfax, they should've done a better job of containing Michael Holdbrook. The Fairfax Stampede breezed by the Metro Tech Knights to the tune of 68-31 on Wednesday thanks in part to Holdbrook, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 18 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Fairfax's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15. As for Metro Tech, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-22.

Fairfax will host McClintock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in McClintock's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Metro Tech, they are taking a road trip to face off against Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Metro Tech is facing Alhambra at the right time seeing as Alhambra is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
