Basketball Recap: Thetford Academy Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Thetford Academy extended their postseason success on Friday against Woodstock. They skirted past the Woodstock Wasps 43-40. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Thetford Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for Woodstock, they moved to 15-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Thetford Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Woodstock: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
