Basketball Recap: Selkirk Comes Up Short

Selkirk was the 51-44 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Selkirk Rangers took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Christian Panthers on Friday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Selkirk's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Valley Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Selkirk will head out to challenge Inchelium at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they and Odessa will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
