Softball Recap: Harrisburg Extends Road Winning Streak to 14

While Harrisburg's victory against Brandon Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Lynx 15-13. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Kennedy Kokenge and Alexis Fey did most of the damage at the plate: Kokenge fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4, while Fey went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Fey has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayci Olson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Harrisburg lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Harrisburg pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.1 runs. As for Brandon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Harrisburg will square off against O'Gorman at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Brandon Valley, they will face off against Tea at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lynx are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
