Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeland Panthers vs. Gilmer Bobcats + How To Watch

Ridgeland hasn't had much luck against Gilmer recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Ridgeland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Ridgeland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down LaFayette 56-40 on Friday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Ramblers on their court since January 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilmer). They blew past Adairsville, posting a 65-26 victory. The Bobcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 18th (when they won 67-22).

Gilmer's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Ridgeland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Ridgeland took a serious blow against Gilmer when the teams last played back in January, falling 65-35. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
