South Fulton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-2 to the Gibson County Pioneers on Wednesday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

South Fulton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Dyer County on the 11th. As for Gibson County, they have also already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Riverside on the 10th.
