            Basketball Recap: Manchester Red Hawks vs. Farmington River Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            A well-balanced attack led Manchester over Farmington in every quarter on their way to victory  on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Manchester Red Hawks blew the Farmington River Hawks out of the water with  an  89-62 final score. Given the Red Hawks' advantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings  (they are ranked second, while the River Hawks are ranked 38th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manchester got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Chance Clark out in front who  shot 5-for-8 from long range and  dropped  a double-double on 21  points and ten  assists. The  contest was  Clark's third in a row with at least ten points.  Will Oden-Tann was another key player,  going 11 for 17  on his way to 22 points and five  rebounds.
 Clark wasn't the only one working in the  assists department: Manchester was working as a unit and  finished the game with 32  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
Manchester's win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Farmington, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 Manchester will welcome Edwin O. Smith  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Farmington, they will head out to  challenge Hall  at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday.
