Parma's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Gooding, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Parma was able to grind out a solid win over Gooding in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 55-47. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Gooding's Audrey Schilder, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 21 points and seven rebounds.
