Soccer Recap: St. Petersburg Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Petersburg Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cambridge Christian Lancers. That's two games in a row now that the Barons have lost by just one goal.

St. Petersburg Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for Cambridge Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1.

St. Petersburg Catholic is taking a road trip to challenge Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Petersburg Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cambridge Christian, they will square off against Bayshore Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Cambridge Christian's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Bayshore Christian has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
