Volleyball Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll Comes Up Short

Hammond Bishop Noll lost against Penn back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsmen.

Penn's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Lane, who had 13 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Carson Petty, who had 15 assists and six digs.

Hammond Bishop Noll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Penn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Hammond Bishop Noll is on the road again on Saturday to play Carroll at 2:30 p.m. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Penn, they will face off against Munster at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Kingsmen are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
