Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Victory Christian Academy on Thursday, Lakeland Christian came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors on Friday.

Cameron Strawbridge paced Lakeland Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Strawbridge got some help from LaVon Pozar and her nine assists.

Leading Real Life Christian Academy to victory were Laila Navarro and Sarai Vicente. Navarro had four digs, three blocks, and two aces, while Vicente had nine digs and one assist. Those three blocks gave Navarro a new career-high.

Lakeland Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Real Life Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Lakeland Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Life Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Cambridge Christian on the 22nd.
