Wartburg Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They secured a 56-51 W over the Monterey Wildcats. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Wartburg Central will square off against Cumberland Gap at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monterey, they will take on Trousdale County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Monterey is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
