Volleyball Recap: Skyview Takes Down Ranked Eagle

Skyview faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Skyview was led to victory by Chloe Lin and Lizzy Bower. Lin had 15 assists and seven aces, while Bower had eight digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Lin a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Skyview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive contests.

Skyview's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Eagle, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 19-13 record.

Skyview has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Rocky Mountain on the 23rd. As for Eagle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Boise on the 22nd.
