Basketball Recap: Hydaburg Comes Up Short

Hydaburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 65-52 to the Skagway Panthers. The Warriors lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 88-45 score last time.

Hydaburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Skagway, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Hydaburg has already played their next contest (against Thorne Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Skagway has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Klawock.
