After a string of four wins, Mountain View Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Powdersville Patriots by a score of 7-5.

Mountain View Prep saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Jackson, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Bella Dalton was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Mountain View Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Powdersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Mountain View Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Union County on the 15th. As for Powdersville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-1 win against St. Joseph's Catholic on the 15th.
