Bexley waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 42-33 win over the Franklin Heights Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-27 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Franklin Heights still got an impressive performance from Riley Hambel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Hambel has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Bexley's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Franklin Heights, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bexley will take on Columbus Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin Heights, they will face off against Worthington Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
