Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Starts off Right with Win over Greene County

Flowery Branch had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Greene County Tigers on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Flowery Branch took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-8.

Greene County is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Flowery Branch has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Rabun County on the 5th. As for Greene County, they will challenge Westside at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
