Softball Recap: Parkland Comes Up Short

Parkland lost against Emmaus back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Hornets, falling 12-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anna Belletieri was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. She also put up two doubles, which were her first of the season.

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Emmaus, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parkland will take on rival East Stroudsburg South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Emmaus is set to square off against their familiar foe Pocono Mountain East at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
