Chase Forester posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Conwell-Egan Catholic is 4-2 when Forester allows two or fewer earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Forester and Conwell-Egan Catholic will head out on the road to take on Father Judge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles had to take a loss when they last met the Crusaders, but Forester had little to do with the loss: he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
