Football Recap: Horseshoe Bend Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Horseshoe Bend lost against Reeltown back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Generals took a blow against the Rebels, falling 54-14. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Rebels are ranked 56th).

Horseshoe Bend is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Reeltown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Horseshoe Bend is set to face off against their familiar foe Central of Coosa County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Reeltown will challenge rival Ranburne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
