Basketball Recap: Dresden Comes Up Short

Dresden has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Middle College Bulldogs.

Dresden's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Middle College, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Dresden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middle College, they will head out on the road to challenge Van Buren County on Wednesday. Van Buren County is on a five-game streak of home wins, Middle College a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
