Basketball Recap: Flomaton Comes Up Short at Home Against Central + How To Watch

Flomaton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Central Jaguars on Tuesday, falling 67-32. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Jarrett led the charge by going 9-for-19 to rack up 23 points. Makenna Enfinger was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.

Flomaton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blacksher at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Central, they will head out to challenge Laurel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Jaguars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
