It was a good run, but Natchez unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pike Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 55-49 to the Eagles when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Natchez now has a losing record of 3-4. As for South Pike, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Natchez will host Port Gibson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Blue Waves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Pike, they will be playing at home against Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will be up against the Yellowjackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
