Basketball Game Preview: Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors vs. Lenoir City Panthers

The Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors will face off against the Lenoir City Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Christian Academy of Knoxville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Lenoir City likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Christian Academy of Knoxville strolled past Providence Academy with points to spare, taking the game 59-43. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Providence Academy are ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lenoir City was able to grind out a solid win over Carter on Thursday, taking the game 55-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Christian Academy of Knoxville has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Lenoir City, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Christian Academy of Knoxville beat Lenoir City 45-32 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Will Christian Academy of Knoxville repeat their success, or does Lenoir City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
