Football Game Preview: Oroville vs. Brewster

On Friday Brewster will take on Oroville at 7:00 PM. Oroville will need to watch out since Brewster have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Brewster might be getting used to good results now that the squad has five wins in a row. Everything went their way against Soap Lake last Friday as they made off with a 54-32 win. Followers of Brewster probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Oroville have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 32-22 victory over Tonasket. The success represented a nice turnaround for Oroville, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-47 loss.

Their wins bumped Brewster to 5-2 and Oroville to 3-4. In their win, Oroville relied heavily on junior Colby Guzman, who rushed for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brewster will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
