Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brown County). They strolled past the Carrollton Hawks with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 69-55. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 58-51 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Despite the loss, Carrollton had strong showings from Lauren Flowers, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds, and Hayden Mcmurtrie, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 17 points and five rebounds. That was a full 45.5% of Carrollton's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Brown County and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Carrollton, they dropped their record down to 6-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Brown County will take on Morton in a tournament on Saturday. As for Carrollton, they will host Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
