Basketball Recap: Garretson Comes Up Short

Garretson was the 45-37 winner over Beresford when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Garretson Blue Dragons lost 51-26 to the Beresford Watchdogs on Tuesday. The Blue Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garretson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Beresford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garretson will face off against Elkton/Lake Benton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Garretson is facing Elkton/Lake Benton at the right time seeing as Elkton/Lake Benton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Beresford, they will challenge Elk Point-Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
