Volleyball Recap: Jaden Gonzalez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tahquitz over San Jacinto + How To Watch

Tahquitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the San Jacinto Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Tahquitz was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.

Tahquitz lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaden Gonzalez, who had 11 assists and ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played. Reyna Garcia was another key player, getting ten digs and two aces.

Tahquitz's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for San Jacinto, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.
