Football Recap: Abdul Durosinmi's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Nyack over Harrison

The matchup between Nyack and Harrison on Saturday hardly resembled the 21-6 effort from their previous meeting. The Red Hawks came up short against the Huskies, falling 48-22. The Red Hawks haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Nyack's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abdul Durosinmi, who rushed for 116 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Bierfeldt, who rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown.

Nyack's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Harrison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Nyack didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-25 defeat against Lakeland on the 4th. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next game, a 40-7 loss against Somers on the 3rd.
