Community Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-38 W against the First Baptist Crusaders. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 57-52 win two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Lydia Wynja, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Wynja is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Keira Wynja, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

Community Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for First Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.

Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for First Baptist, they will challenge Immanuel Lutheran at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. First Baptist's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Immanuel Lutheran's offense will have their work cut out for them.
