York proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Lancaster Bruins 4-3. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 win the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Lem Moss was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

York has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Lancaster, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

York will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bruins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
