Basketball Recap: Tekamah-Herman Tigers vs. Pender Pendragons
Tekamah-Herman played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-31 loss at the hands of the Pender Pendragons. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pendragons: they've now lost five in a row.
Brody Rogers and Parke Loftis certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Rogers posted 13 points, while Loftis scored six points.
Pender got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trevor Trimble out in front who earned 11 points in addition to five assists and five steals. That's the most steals Trimble has posted since back in December of 2023. Alex Roth was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds.
Tekamah-Herman now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pender, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
Tekamah-Herman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-56 loss against Humphrey-Lindsay on the 7th. As for Pender, they have also already played their next contest, a 47-42 defeat against Howells-Dodge on the 7th.
