Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-37 loss at the hands of the Sotomayor WILDCATS. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 991st, while the WILDCATS are ranked 229th).

Despite the loss, Holmes still got an impressive performance from Joseph Ramon, who posted 16 points and five steals. Junior Sanchez was another key player, putting up six points.
