The Penguins never let the Ramblers get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Penguins have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nolan Smith made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
