Mount View waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Summers County Bobcats. The Golden Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Phoebe Dudgeon was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kayleigh Rose, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 14 matchups. Another player making a difference was Malayah Barnes, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Mount View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.

Mount View's record is now 16-5. As for Summers County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Mount View will be playing at home against Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Summers County, they will head out on the road to take on Midland Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
