South Central extended the longest winning streak in Greater South Shore this week by beating River Forest, 34-20. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

North Newton lost to Hammond Bishop Noll 34-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Harry Klisiak was a bright spot for the Spartans, as he threw for 262 yards and 1 touchdown in the defeat.

Ethan Young was a beast in the backfield as Whiting bested Lake Station Edison.

Young was a passing and rushing force as the Oilers bested the Fighting Eagles.

Tyler Richardson was the best receiver in the league this week as North Newton lost to the Warriors. Richardson racked up 6 receptions for 172 yards. Bryce Carden helped North Newton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 47 yards.

Aaron Sauter's team's Jono Bigger and Richardson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Bigger has thrown for 1,752 yards this season, while Richardson has 33 catches for 626 yards. Young from Whiting leads the league in rushing with 1,356 yards.

At the moment, the Ingots are in fourth, while Calumet is in seventh.

Jeff Cain's team led Greater South Shore in scoring this week by notching 34 points on Lake Station Edison. Young ran for 279 yards during the win.
