Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They blew past the Spur Bulldogs 69-16. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kanyon Taylor, who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. Taylor continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Taylor, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 18 boards.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Spur, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
