Greater Johnstown had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ferndale Yellow Jackets a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

LJ Dunbar looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Greater Johnstown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donte Tisinger, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another was Jaydan Caban, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Greater Johnstown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Greater Johnstown's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Ferndale, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
