Zuni gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 78-22 win over the Ramah Mustangs. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-14.

Zuni had a senior duo take command as Deron Lastyano dropped a triple-double with 16 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists and Ty'Shawn Nieto dropped a double-double with 18 points and 18 boards. Nieto has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Eisenga, who posted 12 points along with seven boards and four blocks.

Coming up, Zuni will challenge Hozho Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ramah, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tohatchi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
