Baseball Game Preview: Crimson Cliffs Mustangs vs. Pine View Panthers

For the second straight game, Crimson Cliffs will face off against Pine View. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Crimson Cliffs has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Crimson Cliffs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Pine View 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won nine in a row.

For Pine View's part, Parker Heath was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Heath also scored two runs, which is notable because the Panthers are 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cash Sisneros, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Crimson Cliffs' victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Pine View, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
