Basketball Game Preview: Statesville Greyhounds vs. West Rowan Falcons + How To Watch

The Statesville Greyhounds will face off against the West Rowan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Statesville has given up an average of 74.2 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Statesville came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Salisbury and fell 82-50. The contest marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Statesville might have lost, but man, Manuel (MJ) Gladden was a machine: he posted 23 points and six steals. That was a full 46% of the Greyhounds' points, marking the third time in a row Gladden has put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Harris, who earned nine points and five boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Rowan). They walked away with a 65-56 victory over North Iredell on Friday.
