Baseball Recap: Boulder Panthers vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks

Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Prairie View Thunderhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Boulder of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Charles Margulis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2.

On Prairie View's side, Jerry Stone was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Stone was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and a triple. He hasn't dropped below three RBI for four straight games.

As for Prairie View, they will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Loveland, where first pitch is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Prairie View's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Loveland's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
