Softball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Robertson last Monday, Springfield came back down to earth. The Springfield Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Hendersonville Commandos by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. If the Yellow Jackets were looking for revenge after losing 9-4 to the Commandos when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Springfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Station Camp on the 6th. As for Hendersonville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Lebanon on the 6th.
