Soccer Game Preview: St. James vs. West Florence

The St. James Sharks will head out to square off against the West Florence Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. James is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

St. James is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand White Knoll a 6-0 shutout. Jameson Crawford was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, West Florence waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Vikings. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but West Florence were the better team in the second half.

St. James' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for West Florence, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

St. James got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 against West Florence by a conclusive 7-1 score. In that match, the Sharks amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
