Baseball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Waldron lost against Litchfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Terriers, falling 12-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Litchfield, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waldron will head out to take on North Adams-Jerome at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Litchfield, they will venture away from home to challenge Lenawee Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Terriers are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
