Baseball Recap: Kirby Wins Going Away Against Overton

Kirby made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Overton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Kirby was the clear victor by a 22-5 margin over Overton on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Kirby got a massive performance out of Elijah Cody, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. Cody is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Terrence Stephenson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI.
