Basketball Recap: Atlas Prep's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Atlas Prep came into Thursday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They rang in the new year with a 55-42 win over the Alcuin Hawks on Thursday. This was payback for Atlas Prep, who suffered a 62-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Atlas Prep back to even at 9-9. As for Alcuin, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlas Prep will face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alcuin, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Garland Christian Academy on January 21st.
